2007-08 Outlook
The Pioneers finished the 2006-07 fall season 5-5 overall and 4-4 in NEWMAC competition. The team finished fourth in the conference standings and entered the NEWMAC championship as the number four seed. Smith faced Babson in first round action and won a close 5-4 match before bowing to the eventual NEWMAC champion Wellesley College 0-5 in the semi-finals. In the spring, Smith finished fifth in the annual Seven Sisters Tennis Championship. With the loss of just two seniors to graduation and with the addition of talented first years, Smith tennis looks forward to the 2007-08 season.
