Squash

Smith College offers an excellent intercollegiate squash program. The team performs to its potential season after season, achieving excellence through commitment and hard work.

Team training is organized, systematic and fun, with equal emphasis on the technical, tactical, physical and mental components of squash. The team focuses on long-term development and improvement and many members continue to play after they graduate. Smith team members are often nominated for the Ann Wetzel Award for players starting their squash careers in college.

Smith squash is currently one of the top programs among women's colleges. Although most team members do not play before entering college, the team consistently challenges the best teams in the "C" Division at the Howe Cup College Squash Championships.
