Skiing
Smith's ski team has enjoyed tremendous growth in depth and experience, thanks in part to the simultaneous expansion of the United States Collegiate Ski Association (USCSA), the governing body of 90 percent of collegiate ski racing in America. Every year more and more Smith first-years arrive with prior racing experience to add to the swelling success of the college's program. The ski team has accumulated some very impressive results in its history.

Smith Ski Team Finishes 6th in MacConnell Division; Munsey Qualifies for Regionals
The Pioneers raced to a 5th and 6th place finish at Ascutney this weekend and ended their season 6th overall in the MacConnell Divison of the Eastern Collegiate Ski Conference. Sophomore Kara Munsey (Burnt Hills, NY) qualified for Regionals with her overall eighth place in the individual standings.

Smith had four skiers finish in the top twenty-five in the slalom event at the Plymouth State Carnival held at Waterville Valley, NH on Saturday to give the Pioneers a fourth place team finish, their best of the season.
