Registration for Trips - Register for all outdoor trips by emailing a short message to smithoutdoors@smith.edu, Tell us which trip(s) you are interested in and we will write or call you back to confirm. Please include your phone number for registration!
Da'BEAST Tubing Hill!
- Every Sunday at 1pm, we head up to Berkshire East Ski Area to rip down the BIG Tubing Hill. The conveyor people mover takes you back uphill to do it all over again!! Return to campus by 6pm.
Spring Boathouse Hours - Monday-Friday 12:30-5:30 p.m. Sat. & Sun 1-5pm.
The Paradise Pond boathouse will be open after spring break to the Smith College community during the above hours. No experience is required (just an ID) to check out a sea kayak, canoe, or rowboat. On campus use only/Guests welcome.
Climbing Wall Hours - OPEN HOURS: Tues/Thurs 4-6p.m. Fri 3-6 p.m. Tues/Wed 7-9 p.m., Sat/Sun 12-4:30 p.m. (Kid's Hours Sat/Sun 12-2p.m.)
OPEN/CLINIC HOURS: Tuesday 4-6p.m. & Friday 3-6 p.m.
Check out the climbing wall in the Ainsworth Gym Fitness Studio: Open climbing & clinic/testing hours are listed above. Climbers must pass a belay test to use the ropes on their own. Dont know how to climb or just want to try it? No problem! Come to an Open/clinic hour and we'll teach you. Shoes and harnesses are available for free!
Outdoor Adventure Movie Series! - March 11, and April 8 - We'll be showing some great Outdoor movies in Seelye 106 from 7-9pm on the above dates. Movies will range from Skiing & Snowboarding, Rock Climbing, Whitewater kayaking, Mountain Biking and more! So come check it out!!
