Volleyball Hall of Fame Tournament Results: Day One

Northampton, MA: Smith College once again served as one of the host sites for the annual Volleyball Hall of Fame Tournament. Smith, the Gold Bracket, hosted Tufts University, Williams College, Springfield College, MIT, Brandeis University, Amherst College, Wellesley College and Smith.

Smith College Site (Gold Bracket):
Tufts defeated Smith 3-1 (25-11, 17-25, 26-24, 25-12)
Williams defeated Wellesley 3-0
MIT defeated Brandeis 3-2 (21-25, 24-26, 25-17, 25-21, 15-9)
Amherst defeated Springfield 3-2 (19-25, 25-21, 25-15, 23-25, 15-11)

Mount Holyoke College Site (Silver Bracket):
Middlebury defeated Mt. Holyoke 3-0 (25-7, 25-14, 25-12)
Bowdoin defeated Gordon 3-0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-17)
Westfield State defeated Colby 3-1 (23-25, 25-16, 25-19, 25-17)
Bridgewater State defeated Wheaton 3-0 (25-18, 25-23, 25-20)
