Rhemi Abrams-Fuller Joins Smith's Softball Staff

Northampton, MA: Rhemi Abrams-Fuller has joined the Smith College softball staff as a graduate assistant coach. Rhemi has enrolled in the Masters Program in the Exercise and Sport Studies Department and is due to receiver her M.S. in May, 2012.

A 2008 graduate of Carleton College, Abrams-Fuller graduated with Cum Laude honors, majored in Japanese and minored in Educational Studies.  She played softball at Ferris High School in Spokane, Washington and received numerous awards including team MVP, Most Inspirational Player and All League honorable mention.  She captained the Carleton team her senior year and was the team's Defensive Player of the Year in 2008.  Her coaching experience includes volunteering for U-13 summer leagues.  "Rhemi will bring a tremendous amount of knowledge to the softball program here at Smith.  Having played the outfield as well as first and third base at Carleton, she is capable of working one-on-one with several different position players.  Her year of coaching experience at Carleton also helped get her feet wet and I am excited to work with her", stated softball coach Victoria Moshier.
