Smith Tennis Falls to Trinity

Northampton, MA: The Pioneers fell to Trinity College 0-9 this afternoon. With the win, the Bantams improved to 10-4 overall while the Pioneers fell to 6-12.

Doubles
1.  Jaimi Inskeep (Warrenville, IL)/Gianna Teague (Gahanna, OH) lost to Robyn Williams/Olivia Merns, 4-8
2.  Ally Hawkins (Plainfield, NH)/Mindy Chu (Los Altos, CA) lost to Jillian Steckloff/Kelsey Semrod, 3-8
3.  Maggie Steiner (Madison, CT)/Melissa Wong (Portsmouth, OH) lost to Elizabeth Ortiz/Schuyler Livingston, 2-8

Singles
1. Inskeep lost to Williams, 2-6, 0-6
2. Teague lost to Steckloff, 0-6, 1-6
3. Chu lost to Merns, 2-6, 0-6
4. Steiner lost to Semrod, 4-6, 2-6

The Pioneers travel to Springfield College on Saturday, April 18 for a 1 pm match and then
finish out the spring season at 2 pm on Sunday at Holy Cross.
