Squash Defeated by Wellesley 8-1; Tsang Wins Hard Fought Match
Northampton, MA: In its second match of the day the Smith College squash team lost to Wellesley College 8-1; however, Luisa Tsang '10 (San Fracisco, CA)fought back from a 2-0 deficit to earn the Pioneers a point on the match.
Tsang was asked by her team to step into the nine spot and she did not disappoint as she defeated Wellesley College's Alexandra Ewing 3-2 in dramatic fashion this afternoon in Wellesley, MA. Behind two games to none Tsang did not give up and was able to dominate her opponent in the third and fourth games 9-4 and 9-1. The fifth game was a battle, but Tsang was able to tough it out and win 10-8.
