Emma Peck Coffin Competes at NCAA/EISA Regional Championships

Northampton, MA: First year Emma Peck Coffin (Carrabassett Valley, Maine) competed this past weekend at the NCAA/EISA Regional Championships held at Sugarloaf,Maine.

Weather condiitions impacted races this weekend with only one run of the slalom held on Friday and the giant slalom postponed from Saturday to Sunday.  Coffin, who raced against some of the best collegiate Divsion I skiers, finished in 36th place in the slalom and 20th in the giant slalom. Her second run in the giant slalom was the ninth best overall time.

Coffin will compete in the USCSA Nationals in Winter Park, Colorado on Wednesday and Friday, March 4th and 6th.
