Ski Team Finishes 4th in Slalom; Peck Coffin Qualifies for ECSC

Northampton, MA: The Smith ski team finished their regular season with a 4th place finish in the Slalom event hosted by Brown University held at Wildcat, NH.

For the Pioneers, Kara Munsey (Burnt Hills, NY) finished 6th, Emma Peck Coffin (Carrabasette Valley, ME)19th, Katharine von Herrmann (Piedmont, CA) 26th, Kate Lofgren (Denver, CO) 42nd, and Rebecca Houran (Laconia, NH) 44th.

With the regular season completed, Peck Coffin finished 4th in the overall individual standings thereby qualifying for the Eastern Collegiate Ski Conference (ECSC) Regionals to be held at Waterville, NH on February 21-22. Additionally, Peck Coffin was named to the All-MacConnell Division first team. Munsey finished 8th in the overall individual standings and was named to the second team All-MacConnell Division team.
