Ski Team Places Sixth at MIT Carnival

Northampton, MA : The Pioneers finished 6th in the giant slalom event at the MIT Carnival held in Loon, New Hampshire. Leading the way for Smith was first year Emma Peck Coffin (Carrabasett Valley, ME) who finished 3rd overall.

Additionally, sophomore Katherine von Hermann (Piedmont, CA) finished 22nd, senior Kate Lofgren (Denver, CO) placed 47th, and sophomore Rebecca Houran (Laconia, NH) placed 57th.

The Pioneers are currently competing in the giant slalom event today at Pat's Peak, New Hampshire.
