Alumnae Elizabeth Jacobson Honored as National Finalist

Northampton, MA: Alumnae Elizabeth Jacobson (New Fairfield, CT) was honored as a national finalist this afternoon in alumnae equitation on the flat class at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) National Championships held at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

Jacobson earned her trip to Nationals after finishing as Reserve Champion (2nd place) in her class at Regionals which sent her to the Zone Champtionships. Jacobson again captured Reserve Champion at Zones (2nd place in alumnae flat) and was one of 18  riders who competed in that class. Only the top two riders from each of the nine Zones across the country advance to the National Championship.
