Martha MaloneyHuss Places 15th in the Country at IHSA Nationals

Northampton, MA: Senior Martha MaloneyHuss (Wilmington, DE) rode to 15th in the country this afternoon in the individual novice over fences class at the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) National Championships held at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

MaloneyHuss earned her trip to Nationals after finishing as Reserve Champion (2nd place) in her class at Regionals which sent her to the Zone Championships. Only the top two from each of the nine Zones across the country advance to the National Championship.  MaloneyHuss won the class at Zones (Champion in novice over fences)  and was one of 18 who competed in that class at Nationals.   Her other regional finish was as a sophomore when she placed sixth in the region in walk, trot, canter.
