Nora Youngs Competes in Cross Country NCAA Nationals

Northampton, MA: Smith College's Nora Youngs '09 Penacook, NH competed at the 2008 NCAA Division III Championship this afternoon at Hanover College in Hanover, IN.

With a solid performance Young placed 114th out of 279 total runners this afternoon with a time of 22:36.52. Today's race marks Youngs' third appearance at the NCAA Division III Championship race.

In the 2008 season Youngs was named to the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) all conference first-team for the third consecutive season and finished fourth at the NEWMAC Cross Country Championship with a time of 18:54.32.
