Smith Finishes 11th at Purple Valley Classic

Northampton, MA: The Pioneers finished Saturday with 270 points to place them 11th out of 18 teams competing in the Purple Valley Classic held by Williams College.

Smith's top race finisher was Nora Youngs (Penacook, NH) who finished 21st out of 179 participants with a time of 24:02:56. Emma Yourd (Pittsburgh, PA) came in 72nd place with a time of 25:29:90, Ulrika Botzojorns (Bolton, VT) finished 82nd with a time of 25:44:07, Hania Thomas-Adams (Deerfield, MA) came in 88th place with a time of 25:50:90, and Kristin Peck (Bethlehem, NY) finished 98th with a time of 26:11:82.

Smith returns to action Saturday October 11th at the Open New England Championships held in Boston.
