Grover-Silva Seventh in Pole Vault at Open New Englands

Boston, MA: Sophomore Etta Grover-Silva (Arcata, CA) finished tied for seventh place in the pole vault with a height of 10'10" at the 2008 Open New England Indoor Track & Field Championships held at Boston University. Rita Ciambra of the University of New Hampshire won the event with a vault of 12'3.5".

Grover-Silva along with Claire Edwards (Klamath Falls, OR), Alina Ainyette (South Orange, NJ), and Jasmine Liverpool (Brooklyn, NY) have qualified for the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships next weekend.
