Tennis Falls 8-1 at Trinity

Northampton, MA: The number two doubles combination of Catherine Hill-Lydecker (Conway, NH) and Alanna Dick (Winthrop, ME) were the lone winners today for the Pioneers as Smith suffered an 8-1 defeat at Trinity College.

Hill-Lydecker and Dick defeated Sarah Gould (Longmeadow, MA) and Arielle Leben (Fieldston, NY) 8-5.  The only other close match of the day was Dick's 5-7, 4-6 loss at number five singles to Olivia Merns (Spence, NY).  The Pioneers will host Wesleyan University at 3:30 pm on Tuesday.
