Smith Tennis Finishes Third at Seven Sisters
Northampton, MA: The Pioneers finished in third place with 6 points at the 2008 Seven Sisters Tennis Championship held at Wellesley College. Wellesley defeated Vassar today 3-2 to take its fourth consecutive title tallying 18 points. Vassar finished second with 17 points, with Mount Holyoke fourth with 5 points and Bryn Mawr fifth with 4 points.
The Pioneers lost a close match to Mount Holyoke this morning 3-2 and then fell to host Wellesley 0-5. The tenniss team will be in action again next Saturday when they host Bates College at 2 p.m.
