Tennis in Third After Day One of Seven Sisters Championship

Northampton, MA: The Pioneers defeated Bryn Mawr 4-1 but lost to Vassar 0-5 today in the first day of competition of the 2008 Seven Sisters Tennis Championship being held at Wellesley College. Wellesley and Vassar are both 2-0 for the day while Mount Holyoke and Bryn Mawr have 0-2 records. Smith will face valley rival Mount Holyoke tomorrow at 9 am and host Wellesley College at noon.
