Basketball Falls to Clark 47-70

Northampton, MA: Smith basketball drops to 4-13 on the season and 2-6 in league play as Clark University defeated the Pioneers 70-47 in New Enlgand Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) play this afternoon in Worcester.

Berit Schelde '10 (Holstebro, Denmark) led the Pioneers in scoring with 15 points on the game shooting 50% from the floor.  Leading all players in rebounds Laura Miller '11 (Minneapolis, MN) pulled down 10 boards for Smith in addition to her 7 points on the game. Sarah Roderigue (Oakland, ME) of Clark led all scorers with 25 points, going 4-5 from behind the arc.   

Smith will host Coast Guard Wednesday, February 6th at 7 pm in a NEWMAC match-up.
