Lynn Oberbillig Inducted Into New Agenda: Northeast Hall of Fame

Northampton, MA: Lynn Oberbillig, Director of Athletics at Smith College, was inducted into the New Agenda: Northeast Hall of Fame on Sunday, November 4 at the Woodland Golf Club in Newton.

New Agenda:  Northeast Hall of Fame is an organization which endeavors to promote the advancement of girls and women in sport and recognizes the accomplishments of girls and women in sports throughout New England.  Each year individual states recognize participation in sport in some manner during the National Girls and Women in Sports Day which is celebrated in February in Massachusetts.

Oberbillig, currently in her 17th year as the Director of Athletics at Smith, received this award for her career involvement promoting girls and women in sport.  Lynn's outreach has included sponsoring clinics, officiating softball and basketball, hosting high school games and track meets, MIAA events, Bay State Games and AAU tryouts.

Oberbillig currently is a member of the NCAA Division III Management Council and serves as Chair of the NCAA Softball Rules Committee.
