             Track & Field Takes Fifth at Dartmouth

Northampton, MA:  The Pioneers finished in fifth place with 30.5 points today at the Dartmouth Invitational behind Dartmouth (203 pts), University of New Hampshire (138), University of Vermont (131) and Middlebury College (81.50).

     Top ten performances were given by McKane Sharff (Arlington, MA) who was third in the 100m dash (12.70), Shayla Livingston (Sharon, VT) who placed fourth in both the 200m dash (25.40) and 100m hurdles (14.99); Caitlin Ritchie (Meriden, CT) who threw the javelin 119' 07" to place third; Etta Grover -Silva (Arcata, CA) who vaulted 11' 6 1/4" for fourth place in the pole vault; Sienna Boyd (Ipswich, MA) who placed sixth in the high jump (4' 6 1/4") and Jasmine Liverpool (Brooklyn, NY) who finished tenth in the 400m dash (1:03.03).

     The Pioneers compete again next weekend when they travel to the Coast Guard Academy  for the NEWMAC Championship on Saturday.
