Squash Falls to Wesleyan 7-2

Northampton, MA:  The Pioneers dropped their final dual match of the season last night, 7-2, at Wesleyan University  in Middletown, CT. 

     Kate Whitesell (Easton, MD) and Talia Williams (Montpelier, VT) won the two matches for Smith in the number two and three positions.  Beatrice Bircher (Bern, Switzerland) at number one went five games with her opponent before falling 9-6 in the final game. The Pioneers will be competing in the Howe Cup, Epps Division, to play off for 25th-32nd in the country on Feb. 16-18.
