               Squash Falls to Wesleyan at Howe Cup

Northampton, MA: The Pioneers dropped their semifinal match 7-2 to Wesleyan yesterday at the Epps Cup Division of the Howe Cup women's national college team championships at Yale University.

     Katherine Whitesell (Easton, MD) at number two and Talia Williams (Montpelier, VT) at number three were the lone winners for Smith. Williams match went five games as she took the first two, lost the next two and pulled out the victory 9-5 in the deciding game.

     The Pioneers will face George Washington University today at 11:30 am for 27th place in the country.
