           Crew Races Holy Cross, Trinity, Mount Holyoke

Northampton, MA: With a strong tail wind and in chop on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester on Saturday, the Smith crews raced against Trinity, Williams, Connecticut College and Mount Holyoke.
     Smith and Connecticut College entered two fours each in the varsity four race with Connecticut taking first and fourth place and Smith second and third. The second varsity eight finished fourth (7:11.62) behind Williams A (7:02.8), Trinity (7:04.02), and Williams B (7:07.09) with Mount Holyoke fifth (7:30.69). The novice eights took third and fourth behind Mount Holyoke (7:34.38) and Trinity (7:35.92) while the varsity 8 finished second (7:05.18) behind Trinity (7:01) while Mount Holyoke took third (7:26.44).
    Smith will race in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championship on Saturday, April 21 in Worcester, MA.
