Tennis Picks up First Win of the Season

Babson Park, MA: In today’s NEWMAC contest, the Pioneers defeated the Babson College Beavers 5-4 to pick up their first overall and conference win of the season. With the victory, the Pioneers improve to 1-2 overall and 1-1 in the NEWMAC. The Beavers fall to 2-2 overall and 0-2 in the conference.

Although dropping the first two matches of the season with scores of 1-8 in each match, the Pioneers came out playing both aggressively and strategically.

The Pioneers are back in action this Tuesday, September 19 as they host NEWMAC competitor Mount Holyoke College at 4 pm. Match time is scheduled for 4 pm.
