Smith Squash Falls to Amherst 8-1

Amherst, MA: Junior Talia Williams (Montpelier, VT) picked up the only match for Smith squash tonight as the Pioneers fell to Amherst 8-1. Amherst improved to 2-3 overall with the win while Smith fell to 1-6.
Williams, at number four, defeated senior SarahHarper (Rochester, MN) 6-9, 9-5, 9-1 and 9-5 for the Pioneers lone victory. The Pioneers will resume competition on January 13th when they host Wellesley College at 1 p.m.
