Smith Soccer Falls to Williams 4-0

Williamstown, MA: The Ephs of Williams College defeated the Smith Pioneers tonight 4-0 in a non-conference match-up.

Ani Sani (Scarsdale, NY) scored an unassisted goal early in the first half and gave the Ephs a half-time lead of 1-0. Joan Danver (Los Altos Hills, CA) opened up the second half scoring on an assist by Kate Harkey (Nashville, TN). Terri Van Horn (Cranford, NJ) led the way for the Ephs scoring twice in the second half with one assisted goal by Harkey and one by Elise Henson (Peru, VT).

The Ephs improve to 2-0 while the Pioneers are currently 1-1-1. Smith will travel to Skidmore College on September 17, 2005 for a non-conference contest.
