This symposium brings together women artists across generations for an honest examination of their work lives. These women will talk frankly about the challenges each faces creatively and on a practical day-to-day basis. Dealers, writers, critics and curators will join in the discussion offering their candid insights into the promotion and business of contemporary art.

This program concludes Women of the Year: a series of exhibitions featuring women artists. The final exhibitions in this series are Touch Fire: Contemporary Japanese Ceramics by Women Artists, October 9, 2009 - February 28, 2010 and the audio installation What Every Gardener Knows by Susan Hiller at the Botanic Garden, January 29 - March 31, 2010.
