"From Buttercups to Dollar Bills," my paper for Oliver Larkin's American Art class began as I sat in front of this portrait.  Have you ever held a buttercup under a friend's chin?  Look at the golden highlighting along Henrietta's jaw-line!  At our 50th reunion, my suite-mate, Betsey, and I visited the Museum of Art several times.  To my delight, Gilbert Stuart's Portrait of a Young Girl (its title in the 1950s), was still there!
