guidelines. A few of the guidelines are included here to help you
prepare for your visit.
Please check oversize items (larger than
8” x 15” x 18”). For example, we ask that you
check baby carriers with metal supports, backpacks, large bags and
umbrellas in the coat room.
Smoking, food or drink and pets are not allowed
in the museum.
Photography and videotaping of the museum’s
permanent collection are permitted for personal use. Tripods, additional
lighting, and photography for professional and commercial use are
not permitted unless a pass has been obtained from the information
desk. Objects that may not be photographed and/or filmed are labeled.
Sketching is permitted. Adults may
use graphite, colored pencils, cont? crayons and or non-loading
pens. Children accompanied by adults may use pencils and colored
pencils. Drawing boards up to 24” x 36” are permitted
in the galleries. You may bring your own board or may borrow one
from our information desk.
