Lesson Plans for Middle and High School Teachers

Fourteen talented teachers participated in a summer workshop designed to introduce them to art, literature, and social studies themes explored in the American Spectrum exhibition. They heard lectures by art history and literature scholars, participated in discussions and gallery activities, and designed lessons that utilize the exhibition as an integral part of their teaching.
