Masterworks of American Painting and Sculpture from the Smith College Museum of Art

Published by Hudson Hills Press, this 300-page catalogue features 79 of the museum's most important American works illustrated in full color, accompanied by a comprehensive essay about each work and supplemented by an illustrated checklist of an additional 85 examples. The volume is edited by Linda Muehlig, Associate Curator of Painting and Sculpture, SCMA. Her co-authors include former staff of the museum: Betsy B. Jones, Patricia Junker, Elizabeth Mankin Kornhauser, Deborah Chotner, Elizabeth C. Evans-Iliesiu, and Cynda L. Benson.
