 |  These rare works come to the Smith College Museum of Art on loan from the Milwaukee Art Museum, which has exhibited the collection since its donation in 1991 by Erna and Richard Flagg. The collection normally does not travel, but the closing of the Flagg 
galleries while the Milwaukee Museum undergoes renovations
has offered the rare opportunity for it to be seen at other
museums, including Smith.
