    Friday, March 24

    6 PM—Luxury motor coach from NYC to Northampton (box supper included)

    Pick-up location: In front of Butterfield Market, 1114 Lexington Avenue, NYC 10075 (between 77th+78th Street)

    10 PM(ETA)—Drop-off at Fairfield Inn,115A Conz Street, Northampton, MA 01060


    Saturday, March 25

    The hotel is less than a mile from SCMA, but shuttle vans from the Fairfield Inn to SCMA are available. Check with hotel management to make arrangements.

    Luggage can be held in the museum’s coatroom.


    9 AM—Leisure and Luxury in the Age of Nero: The Villas of Oplontis near Pompeii— Gallery open, hosted by Jessica Nicoll ’83, Director and Louise Ines Doyle '34 Chief Curator, SCMA

    11 AM— 27th Annual Phyllis Williams Lehmann Lecture presented by John Clarke, Co-director, the Oplontis Project (reserved seating; catered lunch following lecture)

    1:45 PM— Panel discussion with experts related to the exhibition including Elaine Gazda, Regina Gee and Tim Liddell, members of the international team of scholars who created this exhibition

    4:30 PM—Luxury motor coach departs for return trip to NYC in front of SCMA (Please supply your own beverage/snacks for the return trip)

    8:30 PM(ETA)—Drop-off at Grand Central Station, 89 E 42nd St, New York, NY 10017
