Commencement & Reunion Gallery Talk with Zarah Ferrari ‘18

  • TALK BACK: Dania González and Ana Mendieta

    Curated by Zarah Ferrari ‘18, the Brown Kennedy Museum Research Fellow in Art History (2017–2018), this installation allows viewers to consider the concept of "home" through performative photographs by two generations of Cuban-born women artists. Installed in SCMA's participator "Talk Back" space, visitors can engage directly with the works by contributing their own memories to the ongoing conversation around the question "where does your body feel most at home?"

  • Join artist and Smith professor Dwight Pogue for a tour of FLOWERING STARS: Prints by Dwight Pogue. The exhibition celebrates Pogue’s work as a printmaker, and retirement from teaching printmaking at Smith since 1979.
