Making Curriculum Connections
The Smith College Museum of Art’s permanent collection and temporary exhibitions can serve as important resources for teaching. Close study of works of art can supplement instruction in a particular content area or help students build analysis, discussion, or research skills relevant to many different disciplines. Museum staff members are available to help you navigate the collection and discuss ways to integrate works of art into your syllabus.
