Bring a Group of K-12 Students
SCMA is not only for Smith College students. The Museum welcomes visits from school groups from the Pioneer Valley and beyond. Tours are based on having the students ask and answer questions and include a look at several works of art and an optional drawing or hands-on activity.
K–12 group visits are free, thanks to underwriting support from Museum members and the Tryon Associates.
Guided tours are primarily available during the academic year:
Tue. and Thur. at 10:30 and 1
Wed. and Fri. at 10, 11, and 1
Summer guided tours are primarily available from the end of May through the end of July at any time during Museum hours (with a reservation).
Maximum group size: forty (including one chaperone for every ten students in K–12 school groups).

Volunteer Smith Student Museum Educatorslead the tours, which last approximately one hour. K–12 groups may request an additional thirty-minute, hands-on activity (art project, sketching, or "looking" assignment).
