Sherry Poirrier catalogs images in all image formats, as well as providing reference service and slide and photo collections management. She also coordinates art department digital imaging projects for Insight and assists with data standards and authority work for the Imaging Center. Her special interests include providing meaningful intellectual and subject access to images for a wide variety of users. She is a member of the Visual Resources Association and the Art Libraries Society, where she has held office and led and served on committees and task forces. She is an artist who has exhibited in national juried shows and is represented in corporate and private collections. She teaches at the Guild Studio School and at workshops in Massachusetts and New Mexico.
