Jim Hume brings decades of experience in the field of fine cabinetry and wood-working. He has trained at an architectural mill, worked in restoration at Historic Deerfield, served as Cabinet Shop Foreman at Smith College for 17 years, and founded his own woodworking business. Since 1998, he has run the Art Department wood shop, where his varied background and experience has contributed greatly to the studio curriculum.
