Carl Caivano teaches Drawing, Design, and Computer Design. His work is a combination of painting and sculpture in wall-relief form. It evolves from improvisational, instinctual investigation of abstract natural imagery. Drawing and painting on canvas, metal, and paper with the help of computer generated images, forms and shapes are cut out, reassembled, and projected by sculptural armature. Three-dimensional constructs are modified, obscured, or enhanced by direct and indirect painting. His work is represented in public and private collections including the De Cordova Museum, The Masur Museum, and The Massachusetts Mutual Insurance Company.
