Parents of Smith students have very special reasons for wanting to provide financial support
to the college.

Parent giving provides financial support in the areas of greatest need and helps Smith narrow the gap between tuition, room and board, and the actual cost of a Smith education. In recent years, the fees charged cover only two-thirds of the total cost of educating a Smith student. Unrestricted annual gifts from parents help make up the difference.
