“What is an ENGINEER and what do ENGINEERS do?”

At lunchtime on Friday, February 8, a group of students headed toward Duckett Dining Room B to attend the first in the TOOLBOX Professional Series, an innovative program sponsored by the WITI Invent Center. A panel of three female engineers discussed their career choices and offered strategies to new professionals for meeting corporate expectations.

The TOOLBOX series is designed to provide students in engineering and science with an introductory understanding of the issues that will be fundamental to their careers in technology, technology-related fields, and business.

The next meeting on March 8 will focus on “Job Savvy: What Do Corporations Expect? How Do You Prepare?”
