Spirits were high as College Marshal Alan
Marvelli prepared the students for the Ivy Day and Commencement
ceremonies in a rehearsal at the Indoor Track and Tennis
facility. President Christ jokingly repeated the key words
that would signal when the students were to stand, march,
and flip their tassels, a movement that required several
practice runs.
