| With photos and papers from the Smith College Archives and Sophia Smith Collection, Professor Susan Van Dyne opened Alumnae College by following three women of different eras through their Smith college years. The college archivist and directors of special collections then updated alumnae on the state of the collections and future plans. The group split into three sections in order to take special tours of the College Archives, the Mortimer Rare Book Room, and the Sophia Smith Collection. Throughout the year, the Alumunae Association provides opportunities for alumnae to continue their intellectual connection with the college by offering exciting educational programs both on and off campus. |
