Testing Perceptions and Learning

A rigorous education includes a variety of learning experiences, from collaborative faculty-student research opportunities on campus to internships that range from studying coral reefs to learning more about international banking.

With support from alumnae, parents, and friends, Smith provides such experiences to all students through innovative programs. Smith is the first college to provide access to one guaranteed internship opportunity to all students, as well as well as ongoing courses in financial management.

Together with resources such as the Poetry Center and a planned new science and engineering center, the college continues to support its mission of providing the finest possible education for women.
