Annual Gifts
Unrestricted annual gifts are the most flexible type of contribution, critical to meeting sudden needs and changing demands on financial aid resources.

Tuition covers only part of the cost of attending Smith—every Smith student receives a subsidy provided, in part, by Alumnae Fund gifts.

The Alumnae Fund
Annual unrestricted gifts made through the Alumnae Fund help fund student-faculty research; the housing system that Smith students love and enjoy; Junior Year Abroad; the Career Development Office that assists students and alumnae; and preservation and restoration of the campus as a botanic garden, to name just a few areas.

Gifts through the Alumnae Fund may be cash, securities, or credit card pledges (in one sum, monthly, or quarterly installments). Matching gifts secured by donors are added to the Alumnae Fund.

The Parents Fund
The Smith College Parents Fund is an important source of unrestricted annual support. Each year, an increasing number of current and former parents help provide to other students the extraordinary educational opportunities offered to their own daughters.
