Mellon Postdoctoral Fellows Provide Catalyst For Interdisciplinary Teaching and Research at Smith

The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship Program is supporting the second year of Nina James-Fowler’s residency in Smith’s Landscapes Studies Program. In addition to teaching courses in the Landscapes Studies Program, Nina will begin research for a biography of landscape architect Cornelia Hahn Oberlander ’44 in the spring. The Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship Program has allowed the college to make significant strides in building this unique, interdisciplinary program.
