If you do not apply for aid prior to admission and by the published deadlines, you will not be eligible for college aid until you complete 32 credits at Smith. Please see the financial aid policy page for details.

Please note: Women who are at least 24 years old (or will turn 24 during their first semester at Smith) or have a dependent other than a spouse or are veterans must apply to Smith through the Ada Comstock Scholars Program.

International transfer students who seek financial aid may apply for September admission only and must submit all admission and financial aid materials by February 1.

Required application

Smith College uses the Transfer Common Application exclusively and we strongly recommend that you submit it online. Your application fee of $60 is waived if you apply online.
