| | Spring weekend is upon us, and many house are hosting closed and open parties to celebrate the Spring time! Yesterday's weather combined with today's weather are perfect representations of the incoming spring. We have some peaceful light showers today that are nourishing our greenery so that it glows when the sun shines again!
Sessions House is having a potluck dinner this weekend, and I'm looking forward to our tropical themed celebrations. A long-time resident's mother is making everyone her famous homemade macaroni and cheese, and I'll be making a vegan version for our vegan friends. We'll be having virgin piņa coladas, fruit salads, pictures of palm trees, Jimmy Buffet music, and hopefully all the fun that goes along with a great classy evening on the beach front.
Other houses are hosting themed parties as well, some open to the entire Smith community. I wish everyone a safe and happy weekend! |
